Happy World Mental Health Day Let’s talk about mental health -  in honor of World Mental Health Day today. This is a super important thing we all need to focus on with ourselves. Being aware of your mental health is definitely something that you should keep up with.  My mental health lately has been shit . Not working and having zero income with bills is really hitting me, hard. I’ve been looking for jobs, I really have. And applying! I just think I can do better. I can do more and apply for more. I'm going to have to settle for something in the meantime. I had a MAJOR breakdown earlier this week. I found myself bawling my eyes out on my bathroom floor. And I mean BAWLING. Like, ugly crying, hyperventilating and completely hysterical. What is wrong with me? What am I doing? This isn’t me, at all. I’ve been in this slump and it just keeps getting worse. I hope everyone is doing great! Last weekend was a BIG weekend for me! Like, huge! Let's rewind a bit - back to Labor Day, real quick. I hope everyone had a good holiday! I spent
my day at my moms house hanging out with her, my sister and stepdad. Us girls were outside enjoying the weather when my stepdad came outside and asked to take mine and my sister's pictures from our shoulders up, okayyyyy then...? He said it was for an early Christmas present. I asked him if it was for a passport 🀣 sadly, it was not - no travelling for me any time soon.

To him asking us if we wanted the Christmas present early. Me being me, I of course said DUH♧! 2020 SEASON PASSES TO CEDAR POINT! They're running some sort of special so even though it's a 2020 pass, it is good for the rest of this year. It has been YEARS since I've been. Do you remember me telling you my tragic roller coaster story from back when I used to be a LOT bigger? Yeah... So anyways, my sister and I decided to take a little impromptu trip to Cedar Point on Saturday. 🎒 IT. WAS. PACKED. We rode three rides. BUT,

I RODE RIDES! I was so happy to be able to do that again. We waited TWO HOURS for the Millennium Force (my favorite) and it was worth every minute of the wait. What a great feeling. Halloweekends is coming up and I can't be more excited for that either! πŸ‘»πŸŽƒ


Sunday was the Spartan Race. Ahhh! They tell you it's 3 miles long. The lie detector test determined.. That was a lie! LOL. This was 4-4.5 miles long with 20 obstacles - 30 burpees per obstacle that you could not complete. This race really tested my strength and agility. There were so many obstacles (probably all but maybe 2) that I took a look at and said nope, can't do that one! But I tried, and was so wrong. I'm still learning that I am able to do so much more now that I have ever been able to do. Honestly, if Kristena wasn't there to push me through it, I would not have even attempted half of the things that I did (and accomplished).
Also, I want to give a shout out to my trainer - Eddie Brooks, for always keeping me on my toes at the gym and prepping me the best he could for this race. Moving up to the Super next year! Hopefully I won't bruise as much as I did this year. 🀣 I decided to leave those pictures  out, but I look like I got beat up, no lie.

I never know a good way to start out, so I'm just going to jump right in - here goes! I woke up SUPER tired this morning, maybe it had something to do with the wine I had last night? Hi, my name is Michelle, I am 27 years old and this is was me (pictures below). I've always struggled with my weight and trying to find ways around exercising and eating healthy. Being unhealthy and overweight, for me, caused depression and a life of unhappiness. Emotionally eating only dug a deeper hole.  One thing I love is roller coasters and going to Cedar Point. One Summer, I went with my family and it completely broke my heart and embarrassed the shit out of me when I wasn't able to ride the Millennium Force (my favorite ride) because I was simply too fat. You would think that would have been my breaking point right there. Nope. After a couple of years and reaching my heaviest weight yet, I finally hit my breaking point. I couldn't handle being where I was. I was unhappy every time I looked in the mirror or went shopping for clothes. It was time to dig my way out if this very deep hole.
